Terms of service

The short version

Use the product to track your own hosting business. Pay your invoices. Don't abuse the service. Cancel anytime.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't create an account.

2. The product

StayMetrics is a software service that aggregates data from third-party services you connect (Hospitable, PriceLabs, Airbnb) into a dashboard. We are not affiliated with those services.

The product is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed. We will tell you when something material changes.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account.

One account is for one host or hosting business. You can have unlimited team members under your account in supported tiers.

If we suspect abuse, fraud, or unpaid invoices, we may suspend your account. We'll email you first.

4. Billing

Subscriptions are charged in advance, monthly or annually depending on the cadence you select.

Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Pro tier (per-property pricing) is billed based on the number of tracked properties on the billing date.

We do not refund partial periods. You can cancel anytime and keep access through the end of your paid period.

If you go over your tier's property limit, we'll show a banner for 14 days. After that, outbound features (exports, alerts, AI) pause until you upgrade. Your historical data remains accessible.

5. Your data

Your data belongs to you. You can export it any time from settings.

You grant us a limited license to ingest, store, and process your data for the purpose of operating the product.

You confirm that you have the right to connect the third-party accounts you connect (Hospitable, PriceLabs, Airbnb), and that doing so doesn't violate any agreement you have with those services.

6. Acceptable use

Don't try to reverse-engineer the service, abuse our APIs, run automated scrapers against the dashboard, or use the service to do anything illegal.

Don't share login credentials. If you need additional users, invite them through the team functionality on supported tiers.

7. Third-party services

We rely on third parties to operate (Supabase for data, Vercel for hosting, Stripe for billing, Resend for email, Anthropic for AI). When those services have outages or change their APIs, parts of StayMetrics may be unavailable.

If Hospitable, PriceLabs, or Airbnb changes its API or terms in a way that affects an integration, we'll communicate it as soon as we know.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". The numbers you see are computed from the data your integrations expose; we don't independently verify it. Use it as a tool, not as the source of truth for tax or accounting.

We make no guarantees about uptime during beta.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

You can cancel at any time from settings. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms with reasonable notice (immediately, in the case of abuse).

On termination, you have 30 days to export your data before it's deleted from primary storage. Backups roll off within 90 days.

11. Changes to these terms

We'll email registered users when these terms change materially, and update the date at the top.
